The importance of looking up
One of the first lessons I learnt when I started to take photographs was “don’t forget to look up” Maybe in a week or so when my collection is complete, I will write a blog on chimney stacks.

These days they are a feature of modern buildings which is sadly missing. However back to today. Walking round our garden at home I was struck by the number of flowers that can only be really seen from below.

Something to do with the weather and possibly the cold wind, but many early Spring flowers lower their heads. So I had a bit of a grovel on the grass and I came across these.

Looking up into the sky is another hobby of mine. In East Anglia we see some fabulous sunsets – it’s just a matter of being in the right place at the right time.

Contrary to popular belief this isn’t a fish eye lens. It is made up with 36 images and blending them in a piece of panorama software.

And the shed?

Well it started to rain! You don’t expect me to sit out in the rain taking pictures do you? Even so I remembered to look up. It’s more fun than pointing the camera straight!
