Just people I happened to bump into around Christmas

I wouldn’t exactly claim that they were all acquaintances. They are friends that I am used to seeing- even if they are preoccupied, busy, cold or just wanting to get the shopping finished.

It is a place for creative artists.

Others have quite a different interest in being there.

Simply being cold or trying to get junior home can be a bit all consuming.

Now where did this lot come from?

There again this group is not going anywhere.

Sooner or later he has to turn up!

Eventually everyone goes away and I can wander around with my camera undisturbed.

Time for a panoramic view.

And a chance to wander up Elm Hill.

The city is a magical place of light .
