Just hanging around the Christmas Tree
I hope you had a good Christmas. It wasn’t exactly hide yourself indoors and toast your feet in front of a huge fire was it? Maybe now it will snow and make us all feel rather Christmasy – but all too late. So this week you are not getting snowy Christmas scenes.

The warmer weather at the end of December meant I could spend time in my attic studio with a camera and a turntable to invent some images using decorations, which I temporarily borrowed from our Christmas tree.

No the circular photographs were not created in Photoshop – they are all camera based.
The idea came a couple of months ago when a not terribly wise person claimed he liked the first one (named “flowers of Autumn” or something like that). It’s the one below. What a mistake to approve one of my images. Fatal! It only means that I will go on to produce more of them – never encourage the lad – now beware there are others in the pipeline.

However it was suggested that something a little different might be included. Drawn towards the wonderful coloured bauble on the family Christmas tree I set about creating he final one – perhaps we could call this “the family tree”
New Year’s resolution – no more bad jokes? But you know that’ll fail as well.
So happy new year to you and enjoy the weekend.

I love your “family tree” bauble!
